Micah Whitson is an entrepreneurial creative director with 18+ years experience in all channels. Designer by trade, storyteller by blood (Southerner, as it were), business-owner by nights & weekends, driven by curiosity.
Whitson is the Founder & Creative Director of the Old Try, a southern-inspired letterpress and graphics shop built to remind us of the people, places, and things we miss.
The Old Try has been written about in the New York Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Garden & Gun, Southern Living, Huffington Post, NPR, Boston Magazine, Mississippi Magazine, Charlotte Business Journal, Design Sponge, and Apartment Therapy.
Beyond The Old Try, Whitson is the Founder of the creative house Villager.
